Prior to SOCAR, Azer has served as a CFO at Azerboru JSC (Azerbaijan); Before, he worked as a Representative Office of “Milio Commodity Services” Ltd. in Baku; Commercial & Financial Director of “AZEXIM” Corporation; Chairman of the board of InpatBank (Azerbaijan).

Azer joined SOCAR Georgia Gas in February 2014 as a director of the company.
