On July 13, the company SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, Ltd opened three petrol stations in Georgia, namely, in Kutaisi (Kvitiri village), in Khashuri and in Gori. Petrol stations were opened by Mr. David Zubitashvili, Director of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, Ltd. The mentioned petrol stations as well as already operating sites fully meet the requirements envisaged by European standards. Petrol stations are equipped with the most recent Japanese equipment which ensures 100 % preciseness of giving out fuel.

20.05.10The presentation of the project of supplying Poti with gas
On May 20 of the current year in Poti SOCAR Georgia Gas, Ltd held a presentation of the project of supplying the city with gas.
In 2010 it is planned to construct the gas network in Poti. Overall 158 km of gas pipelines will be built. Upon the completion of construction the amount of potential subscribers in Poti will equal 21 000. Besides, 174 sites of various purpose will be supplied with gas.

The Black Sea oil terminal of company SOCAR in Kulevi started to trans-ship Kazakhstan oil of the deposit "Tengiz". The right approach of the company towards the main directions of developing the business strategy and meeting international standards by the terminal in any operations attracted such an important transporter of crude oil as Tengizshevroil. It produces four types of high quality production for using it both inside and outside the Republic.

The quality of Azeri petrol sold in Georgia meets the operating standards, said Vakhtang Iobashvili, head of the agency for certification of oil products "Monitoring".
According to him, in May "Monitoring" carried out a quality check of fuel imported by SOCAR Georgia Petroleum,Ltd and implemented the certification process.
07.05.10SOCAR does not intend to monopolize the oil products retail sale market of Azerbaijan
On Friday the ceremony of opening first three petrol stations of SOCAR was held in Baku. This year the company SOCAR Petroleum intends to open in Azerbaijan seven more petrol stations under the brand SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic). Investments to build petrol stations in Azerbaijan amount to 20 million manats.

10.04.10The Black Sea oil terminal of SOCAR stated the volume of trans-shipment of oil products
The Black Sea oil terminal of Kulevi of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic) trans-shipped four million tons of oil cargo since it began functioning, stated the terminal message. The oil terminal was handed for operation in May 2008.
This was possible thanks to intensive work of hundreds of people, including, the team of the terminal, share holders, state structures of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
